How do you replace the engine oil filter on a Toyota Auris? In this guide video, see how to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts on the container (disconnect the cables and various hoses from the filter) where the diesel filter is located. Remove the diesel filter holder, take out the worn filter, and replace it with a new one, ensuring it fits well in the holder. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter container (connect the hoses and cables) and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet when finished.
