How do you remove the VSC TRC system warning light and how do you check the 4x4 system in a 2007 Toyota Rav4?

If the VSC TRC light on your car's dashboard comes on, don't worry, even though I know it can be concerning. Usually it happens because the car wants to communicate that the traction stability control is no longer active or there is a problem with the ABS sensors, low battery, or after disconnecting the battery. To try to turn it off, you can disconnect the negative pole of the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. Or pull the handbrake and press the brake pedal twice. Repeat the procedures in the video using the handbrake and brake pedal. If the light remains on, you need an OBD2 diagnosis to read the error codes. Finally, to check if the 4x4 is working, find a slippery terrain (dirt or gravel), accelerate gently and check if all four wheels are turning. Stretch the car with low gears. Or lift the car on a lift and observe if all four wheels are activated. If something is wrong, there may be problems with the sensors or the differential. If you don't feel comfortable performing all these procedures on your own, contact a specialized workshop.
