These simple steps will show you how to remove and replace the valve cover gasket on a Toyota Camry 2.4L. First, open the hood of the vehicle and start by removing the plastic upper cover; disconnect the ignition coil connectors, using a socket wrench to remove the four spark plugs.

At this point, unscrew the bolts of the valve cover to remove it; also remove the gasket, cleaning the seating area and the base of the cover thoroughly; then install the new original gasket, reassembling everything!
