How to Dismantle the Speaker of a Land Cruiser

Model: Toyota Land Cruiser J120, MK 10 - Years 2002-2009

Learn how to dismantle the speaker of a Land Cruiser after removing the door panel. Before starting the dismantling work, disconnect the battery terminals located in the boot. Remove the plastic trim at the corner of the window using a lever; with a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws located in the plastic handle and in the space of the door opening lever. Once all screws are removed: use the lever to detach the window switch panel and all the plastic clips securing the door. Remove the door panel, disconnect any power connectors and release cables. Unscrew the screws securing the speaker embedded in the door; disconnect the power connector and remove the speaker.
