How to Remove the Fuel Pump on a Toyota Yaris

Does your car have fuel but won't move? It's likely that the fuel pump is not working. Start by disconnecting the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws from the metal cap, and take it out of its housing. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal with absorbent paper, then use a chisel to unscrew the large securing bolt. Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation tubes. Extract the fuel pump from inside the tank.
