How to Remove the Air Filter on Toyota Rav 4

Remove the worn air filter on a Toyota Rav 4. Replace the part located inside the engine bay. Open the car door, pull up the bonnet release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws), open the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the dedicated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Close the air filter container.
