Replacing the Spark Plugs on Yaris

Need to replace the spark plugs on a Toyota Yaris? Here’s how to remove them from the engine. Pull the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the engine cover panel, unscrew the securing bolts of the coils with a socket wrench, then disconnect the electrical connector. Grasp the coil and twist it to extract it from the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs (remove them from the cylinder head). Fit the new spark plug into the engine head with the socket wrench. Finally, reassemble the engine cover panel and test the engine functionality.
