Exhaust Catalytic Converter Replacement

Model: Toyota Aygo MK 1, Ab10 - Years 2005-2014

It is recommended to carry out this repair with the engine cold. Start by removing the front bumper by detaching the clips along the upper edge (at the scuff plate) and the fastening screws along the lower edge. Once the front bumper is removed, unscrew the lambda sensor from the catalytic converter, then the fastening screws of the exhaust manifold and the flange connecting the catalytic converter to the exhaust. At this point, screw the sensor onto the new catalytic converter, position the gaskets (one for the manifold and one for the flange), and the protective metal cover; then proceed to secure the new catalytic converter and reassemble the bumper.
