Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Toyota Rav 4 MK 3, Xa30 - Years 2006-2013

The engine air filter housing is located at the front right of the engine bay (when viewed from the front), just behind the battery. The cover is simply secured with two bayonet clips: once released, you can lift the cover and remove the old filter. Ensure there are no residues in the filter housing, insert the new filter, and close the cover by re-engaging the two clips. You may also opt for the installation of a sports-type filter, which, in addition to improving engine performance, will only require cleaning during subsequent maintenance, without needing replacement.
