How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Toyota Highlander?

To replace the fuel pump on a Toyota Highlander, push the front seats forward to lift the carpet between the front and rear seats. You will also need to lift the carpet from the rear by unscrewing the bolts under the seats. This will allow access to the components below by lifting the protective cover of the pump and removing the retaining ring. Once the part is freed, you can extract it from its housing and replace it with a new one.
