Replacing the Fuel Float on a Toyota Yaris

Access the area beneath the rear seat, lift the adhesive tape securing the cables, and use a screwdriver to pry up the cover plate of the fuel pump compartment. Disconnect the power connector and remove the three rubber hoses.

Next, using a puller, lift the pump assembly, taking care not to damage the float, and wait for the fuel to completely drain. At the bottom of the cylinder, locate the assembly with the float, use a screwdriver to pry upwards to unlock it, and disconnect the electrical connector.

Take the new float and replace it. Then, repeat all the assembly steps in reverse.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
