How to Replace the Alternator Voltage Regulator on a Toyota Land Cruiser

To replace the alternator voltage regulator on a Toyota Land Cruiser, you will first need to remove the radiator cooling fan: this is located directly in front of the engine block. By unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the connected wires, you will be able to extract the fan, allowing access to the voltage regulator. At this point, you can also unscrew the bolts that secure it to its housing, completely removing it and replacing it with a new one. Finally, all removed parts can be reassembled.
