How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a Toyota Tacoma

To replace the front brake pads on a Toyota Tacoma, lift the vehicle so that the corresponding wheel is off the ground. Then, loosen the lug nuts and remove the wheel completely to access the components behind it. Here, you can loosen the bolts that secure the brake caliper to the brake rotor, remove the pins that hold the pads in place, and take the old pads out of their housing. Once the old pads are removed, insert the new ones, securing them with the pin and reassembling all the components that were removed earlier.
