In this video, we can see where the EGR valve is located in the Toyota Yaris, useful in case we need to replace it or simply clean it. As shown, the valve in question is located on the left wall of the engine, about halfway up, right between the engine and the battery. To access it, it will be necessary to first remove the filter box and the related collectors. The valve is fixed to the engine by two simple nuts, to be unscrewed using a socket wrench. Before proceeding with the disassembly, make sure that the engine is completely cold.
