In this video, we can see where the EGR valve is located in the Toyota RAV4 and how to proceed in case we need to remove it, for example, to perform a complete cleaning or to replace it directly. As shown, it is located in the upper front area of the engine and can be reached by following the transversely placed tube towards the left. It is held by 2 pairs of bolts and nuts, both of which can be unscrewed with a 12mm socket wrench. Once removed and the sensor connector disconnected, we can remove the valve from the engine, clean it, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
