How do you remove the EGR valve mounted on a Toyota Rav 4? Lift the engine bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking bolts of the ventilation pipe and remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start unscrewing the securing bolts of the EGR valve (as shown in the video); disconnect the power connector. Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the bolts present on it with a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist in the process. Reassemble everything after cleaning.
