How to remove the EGR valve on a Toyota Rav 4? Lift the bonnet and secure it. Then, using a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the plastic cover. Start removing the fastening pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the part is detached from its seat, unscrew the screws present on it with a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist in the process. Refit everything after cleaning.
