To disable the traction control on the Toyota Corolla, turn on the instrument panel by rotating the key in the ignition switch: once the panel is on, press and hold the button located to the left of the steering wheel, which has the icon of a skidding car. While holding this button, you will notice the TRAC OFF light appear on the instrument panel: the traction control will then be disabled.

To reactivate it, hold the button until the TRAC OFF light turns off.
