Replacing Car Bearings

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

The following guide shows how to replace the bearings on your car. When starting the replacement, loosen and then remove the bolts of the wheel, which should be lifted with the help of a jack. Then unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, and also remove the brake caliper using a socket wrench or screwdriver. Once the caliper is removed, take off the dust cover, also known as a metal or plastic cap depending on the car. Inside, you will find the retaining clip that needs to be unscrewed with a pair of pliers. Once this is done, mount the new bearings, ensuring they are aligned as the old ones were removed, and then reassemble the iron disc and the wheel with its bolts.
