The airbag warning light on and red in color indicates that the safety system, which usually performs a very important function of reducing any type of physical injury due to an accident, is not functioning properly. But how does the airbag work? The airbag automatically activates after the vehicle crashes with another vehicle or with a high-impact object such as a wall. It inflates a balloon that reduces the impact, minimizing the damages from a road accident. It is installed inside the steering wheel, in the side dashboard, in the passenger dashboard, and also inside the doors. When the airbag warning light activates, it is always good to go to the workshop, whether the problem concerns it directly or concerns a malfunction of the seat belts. But how to reset the warning light after checking that everything is working correctly? To reset the warning light, we must turn on and off the instrument panel three times in a row, waiting 7 seconds for each turn off.
