How does ABS work?

Perhaps we don't know exactly how an essential component of our car works: the ABS (Electronic Brake System). This is explained to us by the youtuber who clarifies its functioning. Essentially, it prevents the wheels from locking up when we brake. What is its concrete purpose? For example, in winter we have ice or snow on the ground, and we need to brake suddenly. We press the brake pedal all the way down and feel a strong vibration: the ABS system has prevented the wheels from skidding on the ice. In front of the engine, we have a pump equipped with an electronic control unit, with electronically controlled valves. On each wheel, we have a speed sensor that communicates with this control unit, which is able to provide more or less braking on each wheel. This prevents all the wheels from locking up together, losing the stability of the car, which would then become uncontrollable.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
