Instructions for Replacing the Engine Oil Seal

In this video, you will learn how to replace the engine oil seal on a generic car. To replace it, access the underside of the car and remove all obstructions to reach the housing where the oil seal is located: then remove the retaining ring if present and extract the engine oil seal, using a pointed tool (taking care not to damage the bearing). At this point, fit the new seal, lubricating it before inserting it into its housing in a perfectly straight position. Finally, refit the retaining ring and reassemble the housing.
