Does your car have the automatic steering lock engaged? How to disengage it? Here’s how to unlock the steering lock of the car. Enter the cabin and sit in the seat, then insert the ignition key into the lock cylinder. With one hand, hold the steering wheel and turn it left and right; with the key inserted in the cylinder, find the right position until the steering lock is released. Once the steering lock is disengaged, you can use the car. The steering lock activates whenever the steering wheel is moved too much without the ignition key inserted.
