How an Alternator Works in a Car?

In this video tutorial, you will see how an alternator works in a car. In classic cars, there is a three-phase alternator consisting of a casing with three windings, known as "three phases". Then there is the diode plate, followed by a 12-pole rotor with windings to generate the magnetic field; there are also carbon brushes for current supply. The alternator must be connected to the engine with a belt and pulley that drives it at least twice the engine speed. The main function of the alternator is to produce the current necessary for electrical components and to recharge the battery or batteries in hybrid vehicle versions.
