How to Reset the Remote Control After Changing the Battery

In this video, discover how to reset your vehicle's remote control if, after changing the battery, the buttons do not respond as they should. This is a universal solution that works for most recent remote controls, as they are all made in a similar way. If you cannot get into the car, remove the emergency key and use it to open the vehicle: lock and unlock it six times, then replace the physical key. Test the remote to see if it works again! If the remote works for unlocking but the car does not start, most vehicles have a lock in the glove compartment where you should perform the same operation as on the door: clockwise and counterclockwise six times, and you should hear an audible signal or the locks engaging and disengaging, confirming that the reset has occurred.
