How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

The deactivation of Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiguan can be done by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can select the "Settings" option located at the bottom right of the screen. Then you can select the "Driver assistance" option and scroll down until you find the "Lane Assist" option: under this label you can find the "Active" label with a checkmark. By touching it, you can remove the checkmark, thus deactivating the system.
