How to replace the water pump of the VW Polo

The following video tutorial will show you the steps to follow in case you decide to proceed independently with the replacement of the water pump of the Volkswagen Polo model 9n. Before replacing the pump, we need to open the water tank in order to top it up at the end of the procedure. We then open the pump tube and then the tank, letting the liquid flow out into a container. Using an Allen key, we unscrew the three screws and with a 50mm Torx key, we loosen the pulley and remove the timing belt. We unscrew the screws on the water pump and disconnect the electrical connector. We replace the pump and insert the belt at a later time. We top up the liquid in the tank and close the hood.
