In this video, see what to do when the glow plug light comes on in a Volkswagen engine; usually, the vehicle becomes very sluggish at this point. Naturally, in a workshop, diagnosis is done with professional equipment, and the error can lead to three different interpretations: variable geometry issues; a broken hose or a stuck turbo. Clear the error and set values to check during the road test, which rules out variable geometry problems. The evidence is a leak, which can only be verified with a specific tool that highlights two leaks, and we see a large vertical cut in a hose. Unfortunately, even though it's a minor replacement part, accessing it requires disassembling quite a few components, but we have identified the fault.
