Remote Key Repair

Repairing the remote key is a simple task, but if you need to reprogram the transponder, it is essential to consult a specialist centre as special programming equipment is required. To disassemble the remote, locate the metal pin underneath the key. Before proceeding, open the battery cover and remove the battery. Then, using a sharp tool and a small hammer, carefully push the metal pin inwards. At this point, use a screwdriver to lever between the two halves of the casing until they separate. Once the key is removed, you can also take out the electronic circuit for reprogramming.
