Replacement of Cabin Air Filter and Diesel Filter

The cabin air filter is located near the front right windscreen wiper. Once you have opened the bonnet and ensured it is securely supported, locate a plastic cover between the windscreen and the engine bay: the cabin air filter is situated beneath this cover. Remove the lip seal and the plastic retaining clips of the cover, which can then be extracted. The cabin air filter is directly under the windscreen and can be replaced with a new one after cleaning the filter housing and ensuring the correct airflow direction during installation. Refit the cover, the retaining clips, and the seal.
The diesel filter is secured to the front right shock absorber mount with a metal clip. It is advisable to first disconnect the pipe that carries air from the filter housing to the intake manifold to facilitate disassembly. Loosen the retaining clips of the diesel inlet and outlet pipes and slide them off the filter connections. Remove the retaining pin of the other pipes connected to the filter and take them off.
Next, loosen the filter support clip and extract the filter. Insert the new filter (it is recommended to fill it with a specific additive for diesel engines) and tighten the support clip; reconnect all pipes, tightening the clips and reinserting the retaining pin. Reconnect the air pipe that was previously removed. Start the engine and let it idle for a while.
