How to reset the "Service" light on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To reset the "Service" light on a Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Locate the button under the instrument panel, usually positioned on the right. Press and hold the button, then turn off and on the instrument panel. A message will appear on the display prompting you to confirm the maintenance interval reset. Release the button and, if prompted, press it again to complete the operation. At this point, the "Service" light should turn off. Before proceeding, make sure that the engine oil and filter have been replaced, as the system will be updated to monitor the new interval.
