How to replace the driver's side door handle of the VW Passat

Today we will explain how to replace the door handle of the Volkswagen Passat. To perform this simple operation, in addition to purchasing a new handle, we will need to use a flat-head screwdriver and a drill with a 20mm bit. Using the flat-head screwdriver, remove the cover of the external lock of the handle. Open the door and insert the drill with the 20mm bit into the hole, pulling the handle outwards while the drill rotates counterclockwise will allow you to remove the lock cylinder. After removing the cylinder, pull the handle forcefully outwards to remove it. To assemble, we must insert the handle and the cylinder into their seats, then using the drill, rotate the screw clockwise to screw in the cylinder. Mount the lock cover and test the operation of the handle.
