How do you replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Tiguan?

In order to replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Tiguan, you will need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the hose through which the coolant flows on the right side of the engine block. You will need to disconnect the hose to locate the underlying thermostat: the latter will need to be disconnected from the engine so that the new one can be inserted. After installation, you will need to reconnect the hose and verify that everything is working.
