Operation: Replacement front brake discs

Raise the car on a lift and remove the wheel on which you have to intervene. Remove the plastic caps protecting the brake caliper fixing pins and using a 6 mm hex wrench loosen the pins. With a fixed medium-sized screwdriver, pry between the pad and the piston so as to make the latter retract and create the right clearance to allow the caliper to be removed. With a Phillips screwdriver (it is recommended to use a percussion screwdriver) unscrew the screw fixing the brake disc to the hub and remove the disc itself (a few hammer blows may be required). Then clean the hub with an iron brush or sandpaper to remove any oxidation present and apply grease to prevent the formation of new oxide. Then mount the new disc on the hub by aligning the fixing hole of the previously removed screw and tighten this screw carefully. Before reassembling the brake caliper, it is advisable to also replace the pads; finally reassemble the brake calliper by tightening the two fixing pins and reapply the protective caps and therefore the wheel. Pump the brake pedal until it opposes the right resistance to bring the piston back to the stop and pay attention to the first braking.
