How do you replace the cabin fan of the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Blower motor

To replace the cabin fan of the Volkswagen Polo, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the dashboard trim panel located under the passenger side glove compartment. Once this panel has been removed, you can proceed by disconnecting the fan from the appropriate cables. This will also allow you to remove the corresponding resistor from its housing in order to connect the new one. After connecting, you will need to reinsert the fan into its slot and cover everything back up with the panel.
