How to perform an oil change and oil filter replacement on the VW Polo 4

Today we will explain how to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the Volkswagen Polo 4. We have the car hood open and we open the oil filling cap. We lift the front part of the car so we can access the drain bolt. We remove the plastic cover and remove the drain bolt using a 19 mm wrench, letting the oil drain into a container and closing the drain bolt when it has finished draining. Now we move on to replacing the oil filter, which is located above the exhaust heat shield. Using a 30 socket wrench, we remove the filter. We install the new oil filter and lower the car back to the ground. We top up the oil in the tank and close the front hood.
