In this video, we will see what to do if the immobilizer error light comes on in a Volkswagen Golf specifically, but more generally in any Volkswagen car. This light comes on if someone tries to force the lock, but there are also other cases in which it can come on: for example, if the remote control battery is weak or depleted; in this case, the remedy is simple.

We will need to change the button battery, or use the spare key. We also visually inspect the key, which may have been damaged.

Damages could also involve the car's keypad. Another method to solve the problem is to insert the key and turn it to the ignition position, without starting the engine, for about 10 minutes, so that the system can detect the key and reset itself.

Another problem could be the vehicle battery not being sufficiently charged. Finally, check the fuse related to the immobilizer, checking it from the diagram in the owner's manual.

If none of this works, we must necessarily seek professional help.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
