How do you replace the spark plugs of the Volkswagen Beetle?

In order to replace the spark plugs of the Volkswagen Beetle, you will need to open the rear hatch of the vehicle, as on this model of car the engine is mounted on the rear axle. On the top of the engine, you will find the ignition coils, which need to be disconnected from the corresponding cables and removed from their housing to access the spark plugs underneath. These can now be removed with the appropriate socket wrench in order to insert the new ones: then everything can be reassembled to verify that the car is functioning.
