How to Recharge the Air Conditioning Gas on a Volkswagen Jetta

It often happens that your air conditioning no longer cools; here’s how to recharge the air conditioning gas on a Volkswagen Jetta. Open and lift the engine compartment of the car, then locate the low-pressure valve (as shown in the video). Connect the gas recharge valve to the appropriate hose: check the gas pressure with a suitable manometer. After recharging, unscrew the valve from the hose and screw in the canister containing more gas (as shown in the video). At the end of the maintenance, check the proper functioning of the air conditioning (activate the controls) inside the car.
