Remove Rear Arm on Volkswagen Passat

To remove the rear arm on a Volkswagen Passat, follow these steps: loosen the wheel bolts using a suitable tool (socket wrench or air drill), lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Unscrew the mounting bolt of the arm and the bolt located under the wheel hub using a socket, unscrew the bolts on the upper part of the arm (as shown in the video) and the plate secured to the car's body. Pull the arm out of the bolt housing with the help of a pry bar, unscrew the last bolt, and tap the arm with a hammer to remove it. Now that the arm is removed, obtain a new one, compare it with the old one, and if it fits, begin installation. Insert the arm under the car and start tightening all the bolts onto the threads. Attach the arm to the wheel hub and the other end to the chassis. Install all associated parts.
