How to remove the instrument cluster from a Volkswagen Golf Mk5? Follow these steps to disassemble the parts: remove the plastic at the bottom of the instrument cluster; unscrew the screws inside using a screwdriver. After removing the screws, pull the piece out from the dashboard (as shown in the video) and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Install a new piece or replace the LEDs/bulbs in the cluster, then reassemble it after repair. Finally, reverse the disassembly steps described earlier.
