To replace the thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to open the hood to access the components located inside the engine compartment: on the right side of the engine block, you can locate the hose through which the coolant flows. By loosening the screws that hold it in place, you can detach the hose to locate the underlying thermostat: it can be freed from the respective fastening screws so that the new one can be inserted. After installation, you can reposition the hose, ensuring that everything works properly.
