How to Perform the Maintenance Service and Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Up

First, drain the engine oil by unscrewing the drain bolt located on the sump; after a few minutes, you can unscrew the oil filter using the appropriate tool, replacing the cartridge with a new one. After topping up with new engine oil, reset the service light; to do this, press and hold the button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel, turn on the ignition, and wait for the service reset to complete!
