Installing Aftermarket H7 Xenon Kit

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

To install the Xenon headlight accessory kit, you must first remove the headlights: this requires removing the front trim and the bumper (two bumper mounting pins are located under the side air intakes that need to be removed).
Once the bumper is removed, take out the headlights and replace the original bulb (H7) with the one from the kit, and drill a hole with a hole saw on the headlight cap to pass the bulb wiring and attach the grommet. Connect the connectors of the new bulb wiring to the original socket and close the headlight cap. Before refitting the headlights, secure the Xenon control units with the appropriate brackets, just below the headlight housing, and refit the headlight, connecting the new bulb wiring to the respective control unit. Complete the electrical connections as per the attached diagram and refit the trim and bumper.
