Replacing the Air Filter on VW Golf 6

Learn how to remove the engine air filter on a Volkswagen Golf 6. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet. Secure it with the prop rod. Remove the panel covering the filter. Open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws), remove the cap from the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly against the walls). Finally, refit the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
