Removing the Front Headlights on a VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Let's look at removing a front headlight on a Volkswagen Polo. Open the engine compartment by pulling the bonnet release lever and secure it. Unscrew the securing pins on the headlight bar using a socket wrench. Remove the front headlight from inside the bumper. Disconnect the bulb holder from the headlight and extract it from the vehicle body. Install the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged (always ensure the type and size are correct) and insert the new headlight into its housing. Finally, tighten the headlight pins with the socket wrench. Test the proper functioning of the bulbs.
