Replacing Air Control Knob Bulbs on VW Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Jetta A4, MK 4 - Years 1998-2005

Let’s replace the bulbs for the manual air conditioning control knobs on a Volkswagen Jetta. Remove the air vent knobs by hand. If you cannot pull the knobs off by hand, use pliers. Be careful not to break the plastic tabs that secure the surrounds. After removing the knobs from the dashboard, replace the bulbs or LEDs with new ones. Finally, refit all the parts in reverse order of disassembly. Test the correct operation of the bulbs.
