Volkswagen New Beetle - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Thermostat
Operation: Replacing the thermostat on Vw New beattle

Let's see in the following video the replacement of the thermostat on Volkswagen New Beetle. We detach the panel that covers the engine, remove the manifold from the head (as in the video). Unscrew the pins on the cap of the thermostat sleeve as shown in the video (we use a socket wrench with relative bushes), remove the sealing cap and extract the coolant thermostat from its seat. Once the piece has been removed, replace it with a new one, close the special compartment with the cap, tighten the locking pins well with all its parts. Make sure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the thermostat in the appropriate housing.
