Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 4, MK IV, Polo IV, 9N, MK 4 - Years 2001-2009
Part: Spark plugs
Operation: Replacement spark plugs on Vw Polo

We replace the spark plugs of the Vw Polo if they are damaged. Let's see how they change. We pull the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front hood, we secure the same. We remove the soundproofing panel of the engine, we grab the coil with our hands and rotate it in a twist way, until it is extracted from the head. Unscrew the damaged spark plugs with a socket wrench (extract them from the head) and take the new glow plug and insert it into the engine head with the socket wrench. We mount the coil above the spark plugs, cover with the panel.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
