Volkswagen Polo - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 4, MK IV, Polo IV, 9N, MK 4 - Years 2001-2009
Part: Spark plugs
Operation: Removing the spark plugs on Vw Polo 1.6

Let's see the replacement of spark plugs on a Vw Polo. We replace the spark plugs when they are damaged. Let's see how they disassemble. We raise the bonnet, put it in safety, disconnect the battery terminals. Disassemble the engine cover soundproofing panel, remove the pipettes on the engine head with a screwdriver or pliers; immediately afterwards we unscrew the candles with a socket wrench, take them out of the head. We take the new spark plugs and accompany them with the socket wrench extension in the engine head, tighten them and connect the pipettes to the spark plug itself.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
